A breath of Milwaukee's fresh air

After an exhuasting winter and early spring, we decided we all needed a break. So we took off for one of our favorite places in the world--Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We were treated with heaven-like weather and all of the treats we have missed including fish fry and frozen custard. We were graciously hosted by our dear friends, "Aunt" Hannah and the Stroh family. Five kids--plus our two! What a recipe for wild and crazy times. We also caught up with our old friends, the Scheuers, the Reinkes, and Rivera/Kavanagh family, as well our dear, dear, dear Trader Joe.

Check out the gang at the zoo!

What a nice surprise. It was so good seeing you all and catching up! After you mentioned a fish fry, Jim & I went out for fish.

What?!?! A trip to Milwaukee and you didn't even let your West Allis friends know you were coming?!?!? I know, it's hard to see everyone in a short amount of time... But next time I won't be so forgiving!!! Glad to see you're all doing well and Jonathan found a job--I've been thinking of you and hoping it would happen soon! Keep in touch! Kristi
