We spent a good portion of our winter inside watching our girls play on their school basketball teams. This was Carrigan's first year playing ever and she was on the school 5th/6th team. They had only five girls on the team for most of the season so each girl played the entire game. It was tiring just to watch them! They did great and showed much improvement over the season. Their final game ended in overtime and they played with determination until the very last buzzer.
Mali and Brinnly both played on their schools' 7th/8th grade team. Mali started almost all of the games and her coach often commented on her dedication in practice. Brinnly played her heart out on the court and can only be described as "scrappy" when it comes to defense. It was especially fun to watch them play on the court at the same time. They ended up in fifth place in their final CSI tournament but had so much fun with each part of it that it was a great ending to the season. We're so proud of all three of our basketball girls for working hard for the sport they love.
