COVID Week 4

I'm trying to keep a somewhat recent record of how things have been going here.  The kids have continued to do well with distance learning and have loved playing outside in the good weather.  Carrigan even did her class Zoom lesson on the trampoline which is basically her dream life. The twins are loving having their sisters around more.

One of the best days this week was the planned surprise from Mali and Brinnly's Spanish teacher.  Brinnly has scored a 100 % on her Spanish test while school was still in session and the regular reward for that is takeout tacos from lunch, delivered to the cafeteria.  Her teacher was determined to make good on that, so she arranged a "socially distancing picnic" with tacos and was gracious enough to include Mali too.  We all teared up as she prayed before their meal, realizing how much we appreciate their school.

Finally, this is how our Palm Sunday looked.  We worshipped along with our church's Sunday service and found artificial palm branches to use for the last hymm.  We trust that Easter will indeed come, regardless of our current circumstances.  Pajamas for church and all.
