A few favorite things

We have settled well into the school year now with a junior, 8th grader, two fifth graders, and two at college.  A busy, full, and whirwind stage.  We also got to enjoy our favorite fall traditions with grandparents. We just wrapped up an especially hectic fall sport season and I thought I'd share a few current faves that we've been enjoying along the way.

1) Map My Run app. Jonathan and I have been using this since we lived in Pittsburgh and it's always been a reliable GPS tracker.  We've got over a decade of saved running info.  Now Mali uses it too along with a a few friends and it is such a lovely way to connect and "like" or comment on each other's runs. I'm sure apps like Strava have a million more features but I'm all in on Map my Run

2) Sunday Brunch.  Our evenings and Saturdays are typically booked with various events so we've claimed Sunday as home time after church.  To make it even more smoothly, I fully prep brunch food early Sunday morning (sometimes even set the table!) and we just quickly warm it up when we get home.  Egg bake with kale and sheet pan pancakes are the current fan favorites.

3)  The Word of the Lord Endures podcast.  https://thewordendures.org/  This is "daily, verse-by verse study" is my go-to commute listen and I learn so much!  Pastor Weedon is a gifted teacher and it's a fantastc way to work through the various books of the Bible.

4)  Watching "The Rookie" series with the kids with mugs of chamomile tea afer busy days.  :)
